Empowering Families for Climate Resilience: Ending Early Child Marriage in Refugee Settings

Empowering Families for Climate Resilience" is an innovative initiative focused on addressing the dual challenges of early child marriage and climate change in refugee settlements. This project uniquely integrates child protection with environmental sustainability by engaging families—parents, caregivers, children, and elders—in educational and advocacy efforts. Through intergenerational engagement, we aim to reduce early child marriage while equipping refugee communities with the knowledge and tools needed to build climate resilience.

Empower Rise: Refugee Youth Skill Development Initiative

The EmpowerRise: Refugee Youth Skill Development Initiative aims to address the lack of economic opportunities and vocational training for refugee youth in Nakivale Refugee Settlement. Over four cohorts, this program will provide hands-on training in tailoring, hairdressing, soap making, and baking to 900 refugee youth. Through expert-led sessions, participants will gain valuable skills, fostering self-reliance, job creation, and community resilience. The initiative leverages existing facilities and volunteer trainers to create sustainable pathways to employment and entrepreneurship within the refugee community.

Sexual and Reproductive Health Awareness Campaign
